Special Discount for Teachers at Office Max

OfficeMax® Incorporated (NYSE: OMX) announced today it is expanding on its history of honoring educators with special back-to-school teacher shopping days featuring teacher-only discounts and shopping rewards, and an in-store classroom supply drive at OfficeMax retail stores nationwide. To further support teachers, OfficeMax also today reaffirmed its annual pledge to donate $1 million worth of supplies across 1,000 in-need classrooms this fall.

The teacher savings events and donation pledge build upon OfficeMax's long-standing commitment to teachers and education. Last year OfficeMax and its customers joined forces to donate $4.6 million in much-needed classroom supplies to teachers and schools. Since 2007, A Day Made Better and other OfficeMax Goodworks programs have contributed more than $18 million in grants and supplies to support teachers and classrooms. Additionally, OfficeMax has helped its nonprofit partner Adopt-A-Classroom secure funding for more than 78,000 classrooms nationwide.
